Email Checker: MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC

Check a domain's email setup in one go — MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI and MTA-STS — and see what could send your mail to spam.

How it works

Why these records matter

SPF

Lists the servers allowed to send mail for your domain. It must be a single record and needs no more than 10 DNS lookups, or receivers treat it as broken.

DKIM

Signs every message with a key published in DNS, so receivers can verify it was not altered. Use keys of at least 2048 bits.

DMARC

Tells receivers what to do when SPF and DKIM fail and where to send reports. Gmail and Yahoo require it for bulk senders.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why is my DKIM key not found?

DKIM keys live under a selector chosen by your mail provider. We try common ones; if yours is different, enter it in the selector field.

Should I use p=reject?

Start with p=none to collect reports, fix every legitimate sender, then move to quarantine and finally reject.

Does this send a test email?

No. The checker only reads public DNS records.
