Capabilities

Familiar API, simple pricing

S3 API compatible

Works with the AWS SDKs and CLI, rclone and other tools that accept a custom endpoint.

Multiple regions

Create buckets in Singapore or Tokyo, with more regions on the way.

CDN integration

Serve public buckets through Yeap CDN, on our URL or your own domain with automatic HTTPS.

Scoped access keys

Limit each key to specific buckets with read, read-write or admin access.

Presigned URLs and multipart

Share private objects for a limited time, upload large files in parts and set CORS rules.

Isolated by account

Each account's data is kept separate, and buckets stay private unless you make them public.

Pricing

Pay only for what you use

No minimum fee. Each month starts with a free allowance; usage beyond it is billed from your Yeap balance.

ItemPrice (USD)Free each month
Storage$0.015 per GB-month10 GB
Class A operations$4.50 per million1 million
Class B operations$0.36 per million10 million
Direct egress$0.05 per GB10 GB
Public delivery$0.01 per GB100 GB
  • Class A operations are writes and listings (PUT, POST, COPY, LIST). Class B operations are reads (GET, HEAD).
  • Public files are delivered through Yeap CDN on your bucket URL or your own domain. Each public read also counts as a Class B operation.

Regions

Choose where your data lives

Pick a region when you create a bucket. Each region has its own S3 endpoint.

  • Singaporehttps://sg1.s3.yeapcloud.com
    sg1
  • Tokyohttps://tyo1.s3.yeapcloud.com
    tyo1

More regions are coming soon.

Quick start

Use the tools you already have

Create an access key in the console, then point any S3 client at a regional endpoint.

AWS CLI
# Use the access key you created in the console
aws configure set aws_access_key_id YOUR_ACCESS_KEY
aws configure set aws_secret_access_key YOUR_SECRET_KEY

aws s3 ls --endpoint-url https://sg1.s3.yeapcloud.com
aws s3 cp ./photo.jpg s3://my-bucket/ --endpoint-url https://sg1.s3.yeapcloud.com
Python (boto3)
import boto3

s3 = boto3.client(
    "s3",
    endpoint_url="https://sg1.s3.yeapcloud.com",
    region_name="sg1",
    aws_access_key_id="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY",
    aws_secret_access_key="YOUR_SECRET_KEY",
)

s3.upload_file("photo.jpg", "my-bucket", "photo.jpg")
for obj in s3.list_objects_v2(Bucket="my-bucket").get("Contents", []):
    print(obj["Key"], obj["Size"])

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it compatible with my S3 tools?

Yes. It speaks the S3 API with AWS Signature V4, so the AWS SDKs and CLI, rclone, s3cmd and most backup tools work once you set the endpoint URL and region code.

How is it billed?

By usage: stored data per GB-month, Class A and Class B operations per million requests, direct egress per GB and public delivery through the CDN per GB. Charges come from your Yeap balance, with no minimum fee.

What does the free tier include?

Every month: 10 GB of storage, 1 million Class A operations, 10 million Class B operations, 10 GB of direct egress and 100 GB of public delivery. Only usage above that is billed.

Can I serve files publicly on my own domain?

Yes. Make a bucket public to get a URL served through Yeap CDN, or add your own domain such as files.example.com: point a CNAME at the address shown in the console and HTTPS is set up automatically.

Where is my data stored?

In the region you choose when you create the bucket (Singapore, Tokyo). Data stays in that region and is isolated per account.

Is versioning supported?

Not yet. Object versioning is on our roadmap; until then, keep separate copies of files you may need to restore.
