Order and billing
Choose a server from live stock, pay, get it delivered, and renew or cancel.
Choose a server
Open Dedicated Servers → Order a dedicated server (/dedicated/order). The list shows the servers in stock right now; stock and prices refresh every few minutes.
- Filter with Search, Location, the AMD / Intel switch, Any RAM (minimum memory) and Any disk (disk type). Click a column header to sort by CPU, Memory, Storage, Location or Price.
- Tags: a GPU model if the server has one, Pre-order, and "Only N left" when stock is low.
- Click a row to select it. The Configuration panel then shows its options.
a Pre-order server is built for you in the first available data center of that region. Setup can take up to two weeks.
Configure and pay
- Pick the Billing cycle. Longer cycles are cheaper per month.
- Change the options you need (for example the operating system or extra IPs). Options with a price show it next to the name.
- Hostname (optional): for example
server.example.com. Leave it empty and one is generated. - Check Due today: the first cycle plus any setup fee. The price shown is the price you are charged.
- Click Order now. You are taken to the invoice; pay it like any other invoice (see Billing and invoices).
Delivery
After payment the server shows as being set up. We notify you when it is ready; the detail page then shows the IP address and the Login details.
your billing period starts when the server is delivered, not when you pay.
If setup runs into a problem, the page says so and our team contacts you.
Renew and cancel
Dedicated servers are subscriptions, so renewals, auto-renew and cancellation work like your other services: see Subscriptions and renewals.
- If a renewal is not paid by the expiry date, the server is powered off and suspended. While suspended you can see the server but not manage it. Pay the renewal invoice to power it back on.
- If it stays unpaid, the server is cancelled and all data on it is erased. This cannot be undone.
- To stop using a server, turn off auto-renew or cancel the subscription. The server keeps running until the end of the paid period.
Troubleshooting
- "This server is out of stock": someone took the last one between the list refresh and your order. Pick another server.
- "Too many orders, please try again later": there is a limit of 10 orders per hour per account. Pay or wait for existing invoices, then try again.
