Transactional Mail
Send verification, notification and other system email from your application over SMTP and track delivery.
Transactional Mail lets your application send system email such as sign-up verification, password resets, order notifications and billing reminders. You connect with SMTP or API credentials and can follow the delivery status of every message in the console.
Transactional Mail is currently in limited availability and is not yet listed in the console's left-hand navigation. Existing customers can open /tm/subscriptions directly. To get access, contact support.
Key concepts
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Subscription (organization) | Created automatically after you buy a plan and pay for it. Listed under My Email Services (/tm/subscriptions). |
| Mail server | The sending unit inside a subscription. It runs in Live (production) or Development (testing) mode. Domains, credentials, webhooks and message logs all belong to a mail server. |
| Sending domain | The domain in your From address. You verify it through DNS and publish DKIM and related records. |
| Credentials | An SMTP Credential is for SMTP authentication. An API Key is for sending through the API. |
Plans
Plans are listed at /tm/plans. At the time of writing there are three tiers: TM Basic (基础版), TM Professional (专业版) and TM Enterprise (企业版). They differ mainly in how many mail servers and domains you can create and in the hourly sending limit. The Plans page shows the current limits and prices.
Next steps
- Sending domains and DNS: add a domain and set up the verification, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.
- SMTP and API: create credentials, configure SMTP, set up webhooks and review message logs.
