Getting started

Create an account, sign in, tour the console and add your first service.

Overview

This guide takes you through your first steps with Yeap Cloud: creating an account, signing in, finding your way around the console, and buying your first service. It takes about 10 minutes.

The console lives at https://console.yeap.cloud. Paths in this guide (such as /billing/balance) are relative to that address.

Note

The console interface is currently in Simplified Chinese. In these docs, menu and button names are given in Chinese followed by an English translation, for example 财务管理 (Billing).

Create an account

  1. Open the sign-up page (/register), or click 立即注册 (Sign up) on the sign-in page.

  2. Fill in the form:

    FieldRequirements
    Username (用户名)Required, at least 3 characters. Used to sign in; it cannot be changed later.
    Email (邮箱)Required. Must be a valid address not already used by another account.
    Phone (手机号)Optional, with a country/region calling code.
    Password (密码)Required, at least 8 characters, containing both letters and digits.
    Confirm password (确认密码)Must match the password.

  3. Submit the form.

What happens next depends on how your account is activated, and the page tells you which applies:

  • "A verification email has been sent": open the verification link in the email. The link is valid for 24 hours. Once verified, your account is active and you can sign in. If the email does not arrive, the sign-in page shows an "email not verified" notice when you try to sign in; click 重发验证邮件 (Resend verification email) there.
  • "Registration successful, awaiting administrator review": your account is reviewed manually and you can sign in once it is approved. Until then, sign-in attempts show an "account awaiting review" message.
Note

Usernames and email addresses must be unique. If you see "username already exists" or "email already registered", choose another one. If you have forgotten the password of an existing account, use the password reset flow described in Account security.

Sign in

  1. Open the sign-in page (/login).
  2. Enter your username and password. Sign in with your username, not your email address.
  3. Optionally tick 记住我 (Remember me). With it, you stay signed in for up to 14 days. Without it, your session token expires after about 24 hours.
  4. Click 登录 (Sign in). A human-verification challenge appears; complete it to continue.
  5. If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (or a backup code). See Account security.

Console tour

After signing in you land on the 控制台 (Dashboard) home page (/dashboard). From top to bottom it shows:

  • Account balance, with a 充值 (Top up) button;
  • Unpaid invoices, with count and total, and a 立即支付 (Pay now) link;
  • Quick actions: add a domain (CDN), buy a service, invoices;
  • My services: the services you have, grouped by product, each linking to its management page;
  • Needs attention: items such as upcoming expiries or unpaid invoices;
  • Recent activity: recent sign-ins, security changes and similar events.

Top bar

  • Page search (Ctrl/⌘ + K): type a keyword to jump to any page.
  • Balance: opens 财务管理 > 账户余额 (Billing > Account balance).
  • Cart: the badge shows the number of items in your cart.
  • Light/dark mode toggle.
  • Avatar menu: profile and sign out.
Note

There is no interface language switch at the moment. You can set a preferred currency under 个人设置 > 个人资料 > 首选货币 (Settings > Profile > Preferred currency), but the currency you are charged in is the one shown on the plan and on the invoice. See Billing and invoices.

Add your first service

There are three ways to buy, depending on the product. Each one produces an invoice, and the service is provisioned automatically once the invoice is paid.

Option 1: plan page + cart (DNS, CDN and others)

  1. Open the product's plan page, for example DNS plans (/dns/plans) or CDN plans (/cdn/plans). The 购买服务 (Buy service) quick action on the dashboard opens the CDN plans page.
  2. Choose a billing cycle and a plan, then add it to the cart.
  3. In the dialog choose 前往结算 (Go to checkout), or open the 购物车 (Cart) later from the top bar (/billing/cart).
  4. In the cart you can change quantities, remove items, or enter a coupon code.
  5. Check out. An invoice is created and you are taken to it. Pay it as described in Billing and invoices.

Option 2: the provisioning wizard (hosting, LightApp, domain email and others)

Some products use a common wizard at /provision/<product-type>. You reach it from the product page, for example the create button under 主机 > 独享容器 (Hosting > Dedicated containers) or LightApp服务. The wizard has four steps:

  1. Region (选地区): pick where the service runs.
  2. Plan (选套餐): pick a plan size.
  3. Configure (配置): choose the billing cycle and fill in any product-specific settings.
  4. Confirm (确认): review product, region, plan, cycle and price, add it to the cart, then check out.

Option 3: product-specific pages

Domain registration (域名注册 > 域名搜索) and cloud servers (云服务器 > 购买实例) have their own purchase pages. See the product docs, for example Domain registration.
